Pastine canned tomatoes - the ones stamped from Italy - I don't use any other tomato!!! Always consistent and very rich in flavor! I use them for my gravy (spaghetti sauce) and my chicken cacciatori, Italian style haddock or anywhere that calls for tomatoes. Although they're not always available just anywhere in the country - they are back East in New England. Demoules Market Basket has the best price anywhere.
