Vego Canned Tomatoes

Due to food sensitivities I haven't been able to eat anything with tomatoes for the last 20 years and I'm Italian!

BUT- when I was in Florida I ate Italian food made with Vego brand tomatoes 3X a day without any repercussions! It was like being in heaven!

The lady who made the food said the brand was spelled Vego, and that it came from Italy.

In searching the web, all that came up was a brand named Mister Vego from China. The picture of the tomato can didn't look familiar.

Any info would be appreciated.
