Feeding an "adults only" crowd tonight? Add a little kick to this Alfredo sauce recipe by crushing a garlic clove or two and turn this into terrific garlic chicken pasta recipe.

Affordable, fun and appetizing. Sounds like the making of a perfect meal!

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. of chicken breast cut in inch slices

1 tbsp of Olive Oil

2 cloves of garlic crushed (optional)

1 stick of butter

6 tablespoons of Butter

1 cup of heavy cream

cup of freshly grated parmigiano

a little chopped Italian parsley

Pinch of both Salt and Pepper

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Heat olive oil a saute pan.

When hot crush the garlic into the pan and quickly add the chicken

You can splash some white wine in if you'd like.

Saute chicken until cooked tender and set aside.

Now...

Melt the butter in a sauce pan but don't let it boil. Slowly add the cream and let is simmer for about 1 minute.

Remove from heat and add the parmigiano stirring a little at a time.

Pinch of Salt, Pepper.

Toss with your favorite pasta type. It can be fettucini but penne or gemelli would be a really great alternative.
